Terms of Service
Effective: DRAFT — not yet effective
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Plumbline website and the contractor pages it hosts. By using the site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
What Plumbline is
Plumbline is a directory and lead-routing service that helps homeowners reach vetted local contractors. Plumbline is not the contractor and does not perform the work itself. The contracting work, pricing, scheduling, and any warranty are agreed directly between the homeowner and the contractor.
Use of the site
You agree to provide accurate information when submitting a request and to use the site only for lawful purposes. You may not misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or use it to send unsolicited or unlawful communications.
No professional advice or guarantee
Information on contractor pages (including cost ranges and repair-versus-replace guidance) is general and informational only and is not professional advice for your specific situation. Plumbline does not guarantee the work, availability, or pricing of any contractor.
Contractor terms
Contractors using the platform agree to the separate contractor agreement, including the per-lead billing terms and the dispute process described there. Those terms govern the contractor relationship and control where they conflict with this summary.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Plumbline is not liable for the acts, omissions, work, or conduct of any contractor or homeowner, or for any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
Contact
Questions about these Terms can be directed to Plumbline through the contact details published on the site. (Draft — governing-law and final contact details will be added during legal review.)
